The City of Streator Plan Commission, as part of its regular meeting, will be holding a public hearing on Tuesday, Aug. 12th, 2008 in regards to proposed amendments to the city sign ordinances.  The meeting will be held at 7:00 pm at Streator City Hall Council Chambers, 204. S. Bloomington St.

As sign codes directly impact local business, the Streator Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with the City of Streator and the Streator Downtown Area Businesses, is making the proposed ordinance available for public view on the Chamber website at

Interested parties are encouraged to review the proposed ordinance and attend Tuesday's plan commission meeting.
